Bike won't start

Hey guys, the FZ has just been sitting in my complex lot since December, I tried starting it up several times but it wouldn't start, obviously the battery was dead.

It makes a clicking sound around the battery area when I try to start up the ignition.

Went to AutoZone and they told me my battery was fine, but it just needed to be recharged. They charged it and I tried re-connected it.

And the bike still will not start.

I'm dumbfounded as what to do next, I was sure this was the problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

First thoughts? I'm assuming nothing happens when you hit the ignition. If the engine turns over and doesn't start, then this post won't help.

If when you hit the ignition, nothing happens? First is make sure the kill switch is not on.

Second is make sure your gearbox is in neutral. Sounds stupid? Nope. Many have been there and done that.

Great places to start. If those are okay might wanna try jump start to see if the problem is battery related even though they stated it was charged. Seems if these batteries run down all the way that you usually need to replace them.

Sit on the bike pull in the clutch and lift the kickstand
