So, I haven't posted on here in a while, and really need some help.
Bike 2012 fz6r, around 10k miles
I broke my leg in sept, so I was out till basically this month when i am more able to move. long story short.
I wanted to winterize my bike, so I started it last weekend, started then died.

-bike did not, start at all

- took the tank off, drained it, put fresh new gas in it with stabil.

-now it starts, but dies when opening throttle fast. can get revs up, but throttle needs to be slowly opened.

-today put seafoam in tank, ran for about 20 minutes.

Next moves
- Going to run it everyday till empty, new gas, seafoam and stabil.
- will change change plugs.

I am thinking its the fuel pump, or injectors. Hoping its the fuel pump not something crazy.
Not really sure what to do next. Need help, do not know much about bikes, do know how cars run, am a auto collision instructor at a high school.

Did you check for critters in the airbox?
2nd this!
If the motor is starved for air, and you open the throttle it will stall.

Others (North Americans) have posted threads with similar symptoms in past following their winter storage.
Lift the tank and open the air box for a look,
while you are there clean the air filter and shuffle some of the electric looms out of the way for a less disturbed intake area

I had the damn thing out, but i totally didnt thing about checking th filter. Even with the plastic top cap off, the bike stalled at WOT.
Thanks for the help, I will have to keep messing with it.
