Bear Mountain NY

Hi Guys,

Planning to take a ride to Bear Mountain NY this weekend.
I have heard that the the ride and the roads are beautiful there.
But once I reach there, what are the things to do there? I mean any activities, places to see, things to do etc?

Wish I could go. I grew up (kind of ) in Rockland county. We used to ride (in cars) up there to camp and drink beer when I was in high school. Last time I was there was 20 some years ago. I stayed in a cabin and ate at the Bear Mountain Inn. I would like to stay at the Inn next time, but I'm not the type to make reservations and they are always booked. If I was going I'd just ride around, but then that and eat is about all I do. Have fun.
