Don't know if there's already a thread about this but I'm pretty new to threads.. any riders from Adelaide/SA? Was wondering cause I've only ever seen another FZ6R around... feeling lonely!

There are a number of FZ6R & XJ6 rides around but they either dont know of forum or just lurk n the shadows.

If you ever interested in joining up for a ride, post it or pm.
I am usually available every 2nd saturday.

Yeh have been getting into bit of 4wding which has taken some of my time and money. But have been lurking around here and there, starting to get back into it with a few mates buying bikes.

Have been thinking about upgrading but the insurance is a killer plus there's too many options lol :surrender:

Good to see another Adelaide person on the forums Thanhdale, seen a few around but I'm never on my bike when I see them.

Saturday is supposed to be raining, Sunday well that is Oz Day -so I will be JJJ Hottest 100 lock down

I'm keen on the long weekend ! Post a pic of your bike Bert haha. Also Mitch, where did you get your bar ends? I can't seem to find ones that fit... I bought a pair of CPR ones which apparently would fit but didn't...

Well Monday is meant to be 34 and sunny, where do you want to ride?
Do you want to ride open sweepers or tight twisties? How about all of the above?

Stop for a coffee and snacks somewhere...

In regards to your bar ends, just get some gold gloss paint.
As they will only end up getting scratched next time you clip something (ie carport wall, car mirror or drop your bike in the shed (I know these all from experience:facepalm)

Yeah I'm keen. Just not really hardcore roads if you get what I mean, I only just got the bike haha. Just installed new renthal grips on today, real comfy! FE lot and shorty leavers are on their way too. Should be on the bike before Monday !

Dont worry, there are no hardcore roads as such,
we can only ever go as fast as the speed limit will allow.

Monday is now looking to be 38C, whilst Saturday 28C
Sorry but 28C is way more comfortable to ride in than 38C

How does riding from Montacute to Mt Pleasant and back sound?
Will need atleast 4 hours return, including coffee/ snack/ talking shit breaks
