Air scoop led & AIS block offs install

Here's some pics on my install this weekend, this website has been very motivating and helpful. the led were listed as 9 led but the 15 led one arrived, improvised on the fly. i used silicone adhesive since i didn't want any residue if i decide to change indicator.

i cut off the connector and used t taps to tie into my signal connector, black to ground, green to positive and brown to positive on the other side.

Ais blockoffs install is worth it, took me 3 hours but i took my time. the 2 back screws holding the air box doesn't need to be unscrewed all the way in order to removed the box, just back it out to the last thread so you don't drop the cylinder washer in the middle, or use a magnet tool. only about a table spoon of fuel came out but i had rags underneath, i used a ziploc bag for the fuel line after disconnect so the residual gas in the line didn't spill on the fairings, glad i did. Besides that everything was pretty straight forward from the guides on here.

i found out that the breaker bar method works great to prop up the tank to disconnect the lines and then i took off the tank and put tank aside.

So what's your thoughts on the 15 vs 9...

i wanted the 9 led to run a straight line like some of the guys here but the 15 led has proved very bright, shows well in the front against the 5k hid. no regrets of them shipping the wrong one
