I am installing my LeoVince exhaust and want to do away with the factory air injection. I was wondering instead of the Block off plates can I just use HD coolant bypass caps on all 3 ports and save myself $30
I wouldn't see why not. Really it is just to keep the air out. They won't look as pretty....I am installing my LeoVince exhaust and want to do away with the factory air injection. Well then considering no one sees under my tank or airbox I will go the cheap route because I still have a power commander to purchaseI wouldn't see why not. Really it is just to keep the air out. They won't look as pretty....
If you are taking the AIS out yes. But it is simple, couple more caps and you're golden.... I am not even sure you have to block all three off...???
I just blocked the male coming from the air filter box....used a vacuum cap, and placed the hose back on top of that, clamped that; sealing both.
Do you need to block it in more places than that?

So you DO need to take the whole thing out? My nipple arrestor isn't enough? I am pretty clean with almost zero popping, thanks to PC5 and Marthy...If you are taking the AIS out yes. But it is simple, couple more caps and you're golden.
