2012 models have built in shift light and lap timer???

I was just reading an article about the 2012 FZ6R on topspeed.com. When talking about this years model the article stated, "The bike also has a built-in lap timer that’s controlled by a right-handlebar switch; there’s also a multi-function digital and analog instrumentation that includes a programmable shift light..." Is this true or an error in the article? If its true, do the other model years have this function as well? It would be neat to use! Link below.

I think someone should have proof read this article first. This bike definitly does not have a delta box aluminum frame, so I think some of the items you're asking about aren't there either.

very confused. what a fail, its like they knew nothing about the fz6r to be able to mix this up.

Honestly, I have a lap timer on my current bike. I never use it lol

thats because you only drive to walmart and back :rolleyes::justkidding:
