Hello, I have a question about replacing the headers on a Yamaha XJ6 2010. Maybe someone has encountered this and knows if it is possible to properly adapt a used Yamaha FZ6 S2 07-10 header? I am trying to find an option because I believe it will sound better and it is cheaper.

I was thinking about getting more power from my XJ6 and saw the fz6 and the xj6 has almost the same motor. By the redline difference and the power output i think it's the cam that change but can i just change all the cylinder head from one to the other and a map ?

Figured I'd start a thread here to document the progress of my bike as I keep working on it. I bought my 2015 FZ6R in 2022 as my very first bike with about 12,000 miles on it. Initially, I bought it just to save on gas commuting during the summer and left it stock my whole first season riding.

Until the Temp of the bike reaches at least 75C(167F) the throttle response is awful and I'm pretty much unable to blip the throttle on downshifts since revs bog down after 3k RPM Do you guys have the same behaviour on your bikes?

hi , i have a problem with my xj6 clutch . I rebuilt all clutch but its not engaging , then i put 1st gear wheel moves for a second and stops , clutch needle not moving when i pulling clutch lever . I tried pulling needle out manualy but it sucks in towards engine , any issues ? thank you
