I can't seem to find any information on this, maybe because it's obvious? I have an 01 R6 header and PCV. Does this mean I need to get an R6 slip on? and if so does it have to be for that year?
I'm looking into an exhaust mod for my fz6r. I really like the look and sound of either the jardine-GP1 slip on and the SC project slip on.
Is it possible to use the stock fz6r headers and either weld or clamp the tip on with an adapter? Or do you definitely need r6 headers?
I have a stock exhaust that im gonna cut and im going to get a slip on like what Marthy was offering. Basically I was hoping someone could shine some light on how to make the reducer from the stock pipes to the slip on.
Thanks!
I just found this on ebay and was curious if anyone else has seen these or have tried it and maybe have a sound clip or video. I didn't think they made slip ons for this bike... Interesting and cheap.

I spoke to my mechanic and he said there are slip ons available for the FZ6R. I'm assuming they just cut the pipe and weld it on? Does anyone have any suggestions for slip ons?
My other option is to get the R6 headers but I'm not sure how difficult they'd be to bend and if it would be a good...
I've been reading that the cheapest way going about installing an exhaust system is to use the R6 headers plus a slip on exhaust. I want to know what year of the R6 should I get to fit my 2014 FZ6R?
