Earplugs?
I have a very basic system (thanks Jim!) that works fine up to about 40MPH. It digs into my ear over time and I have to use ONE earplug to make it work but it's been great so far. I'm looking to upgrade now (rider/passenger system).
Can ear plugs be worn with any of these...

I started a ride share request thread on my local forum.
Louis, you're the man, again, but that won't work for me as my FZ6 is not street legal when prepped for the track and my track tires would die on the highway.
How great it would be if the true cost was really only $125.

Ah yeah, really loved T1 through T4b section of the track....come to think of it I like that track more now than I did when I was there and want to go back!

There was one guy in the C group with a Brutale....don't think we met him...didn't know he crashed. Why would you do a track day with that bike???

One of the benefits on having a camera set up on the bike...built in lap timer. But really, with all of us in the same group...I think we'll all get a good idea of everyone's pace by the end of the day.

I’ll be bringing the following:
- One ratty FZ6
- Track canopy
- One cooler for lots of drinks and my lunch
- 5 gallon gas can (I’ll probably need most all of it and it will be 87)
- My tool box

I clean it throughout the day at gas stations...usually with spit. Once I get home, I soak a paper towel w/ warm water and drape it across the sheild, pat it down so it's firmly against the surface, and then wipe away after letting it sit for 10 minutes. Works really well.

Pete, I vote for intermediate based on everything you mentioned. You can always move up, but on street tires I'd be praying for you if you did. I'm guessing intermediate is going to have a wide range of pace...always seems to be the case...
