Ok folks, as quite a few people are aware of, i recently purchased an FZ6 Cup bike, with the intention of racing!
Well, after a few track days, the time has come to race!...should have my MA racing license sorted by the middle of next week, and the next local race meeting is on June 12-13 -...

Well, what a day of high drama & mixed results for our Championship front runners....
A couple of big crashes, nasty injuries, 2 restarts for race one, Spies running out of petrol, with metres to the finish line in race 1, whilst leading, Haga crashing out of race 2....

Ok, it's finally been run & won....Stoner first, Rossi 2nd, Lorenzo 3rd, Edwards 4th, Dovizioso 5th, De Angleis 6th, Vermeulen 7th, Kallio 8th, Elias 9th, De Puniet 10th, Pedrosa 11th, Hayden 12th.....much better as race wore on!, Gibernau 13th, Melandri 14th...after falling off, then rejoining...
Just stumbled across this...the MT01 is one big, rough tough bike....i know, cause my best mate rides one....and it's a big thumping, torque monster, that doesnt mind going round corners either, despite it's size....well it looks like Yamaha have just made it better.
