So recently I’ve had this issue hasn’t been going on for long maybe a week or so but hopefully someone can help me out. I talked to a couple people on Facebook just looking for ideas though.
So my bike will usually run somewhere in the 190’s while riding but now even riding at a constant 65...
I had this problem once before and it was cause the lock cable broke. I used a long small flat head and maneuvered it under the rear seat to release the lock it really isn’t hard.

Has anyone removed the tank plastic on a FZ6R and has pictures? I included a picture of the pieces I’m referring to.
My plastic is just faded and it doesn’t really grip for crap I ordered a stomp grip

So I opened my air box and the previous owner had cut the two tall stacks to the same height as the two short ones.
Is this okay or do I need to get new stacks before riding it again?
I don’t want to cause anymore damage if it’s not okay

So I needed a couple connectors and it was cheaper to buy an entire wiring harness. Now I have this thing and was wondering if you guys/gals knew of anything else I could use it for.
I was thinking about using the fuse box for all my accessories instead of having like 3 in line fuses

Great I rode about 60 miles afterwards and didn’t feel any vibration. I tried to keep as much weight as I could on it when modifying it.

My coolant is good. I have about 500 miles on it I think if that.
Tires are new. I do want to change the oil and lube the chain a couple days prior and thank you for the reminder I do need to change my air filter lol

I just measured my OES ones and from the outside of the fairing to the outside edge of the frame sliders it’s balanced they are both roughly 2 5/8” from the fairing.
The other question you have I wouldn’t know that.

I only think that about the fan cause it runs pretty warm here in Florida. I don’t want to bypass it to where I have to turn it on just when I feel the need.

I’m requesting y’all’s help or opinions so to speak. I’m going to be riding the Iron Butt Challenge with some of my buddies. The Iron Butt is 1000 miles in 24 hours or less. I have a 2009 FZ6R with around 16000 miles.
My question is what kind of maintenance should I do prior to making this...
It’s the factory header wrapped in Titanium heat wrap. I had it cut at the 3 inch line then welded a slip on adapter.

I think I might try and cut the threaded part off and modify the factory one like this guy did however losing the threaded part of are bar ends and drilling through I’m afraid to lose to much weight

I used the search function and google and couldn’t find much on it. I was wondering has anyone found a set of heavy weight bar ends or modified the stock bar ends to work with woodcraft clip ons? The woodcraft brand bar ends do not look to be heavy enough for are bike. 2009 FZ6R

I’m making this write up from individuals that requested it from my previous post. I didn’t take pictures as I was installing but I will take a lot more so that you may see how they were installed.
Here is the rearsets I bought they are from 03-09 R6. I bought them with all...
Okay I will put some work into it. I have to take some more pictures of the backside. The riding position does change your legs end up higher but the shift response is a lot better especially down shifting. I’m sure you could set them lower. Only real parts I had to buy was the nut on the...
