Hey guys, tried to do a search for this and found a couple posts about clutch free play but nothing about the throttle... i was just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the free play on the initial turn of the throttle - mine feels a little too loose and would appreciate the extra control...
couldnt really see anywhere where the second stopper would fit in on either side... the current stopper is shorter and fatter and seems to work pretty well -maybe its a taller stopper for clearance of exhaust or something? although currently with the short one im having no issues.

ok so no rush to put it in there, but ill probably end up doing it when i get some time... itd be great if you could check about the taller stopper thanks.
thanks for the response, i thought the little spring might go inside the larger one but wasnt quite sure how to make it fit... as far as the stopper goes, the kit came with 2, a shorter one which i installed and this taller one... so im still not sure what to do with it...

Hey guys, so yesterday i finally got around to installing my OEM Yamaha centerstand on my 2012 FZ6r.... i could find any OEM instructions so i looked at some of the SW motech centerstand tutorials and tried following those but the brackets with the OEM stand are different...

is it tougher to pull U turns and stuff? looks like theres not much room for hand when your turning slow speed, i noticed a little tighter just when i flipped my risers, i wonder what thats like haha
There are often situations :cough:cluelesscages:cough: where even if i used the dinky bike horn, it probably isnt even heard by other drivers...
in another thread i mentioned figuring out putting on some hella horns, but after seeing this video i think i know what my first real mod has to be...
ive driven the dragon, but never ridden it... but i can imagine it would be incredible on a bike...
my dad and i did a road trip from upstate ny, down to the dragon, drove it both ways, and back in 2 days - 40 hrs on the road, 8 hrs in a hotel overnight... it was an awesome experience, we were...
my main side hobby is rock climbing, but i also ride bikes (the pedal kind), snowboard, work on cars and dabble in photography and drawing -- havent really had much time for anything except rock climbing/gym recently coz school has been so busy
haha today i was out on a ride, stopped at a light with a car that had been psuedo tailing me for almost a mile so naturally i took off a little briskly when the light changed, luckily as soon as i created space behind me (going about 45 in a 35) i let off the throttle and engine brake back to...
haha, im waiting til i put my bike in storage until i do any mods, just want to enjoy it right now with the little time i have... but in the spring hopefully itll be like a new bike :D
as far as the tire thing goes, i guess i just gotta edge in on the lean bit by bit til thats gone, definitely...
haha well i can tell im obviously joining a warm and caring community of bikers, which is great - glad to be here! as far as riding within my limits, im definitely doing my best... as im getting more and more comfortable with the bike im definitely trying different things and figuring out...
haha ive been thinking about doing a horn mod myself...
gonna see if i can find a way to make some hella car horns work - it'd at least be an improvement over the dinky horns most bikes come with
