Uh-oh My '12 does the same thing, whistles in 5th gear. I'll have to pull the clutch next time i'm riding, to find out what she does. If i pull the clutch and it the whistling stops, what exactly is wrong with my bike? Transmission huh? lol Its less 6 months old :eek:

I'd give them back and ask for a swap of some sort if they don't match your bike at all. Just a thought.
