Its called "Standlicht" (like a parking light) and all cars and motorcycles in europe have this. Its kind of law, if you want to park at special roads or official ground you have to let the "standlicht" on while parking. And, like said before, in kind of wrecking your bike, you can left lights...

i cant do this, cause the mirrors will hit the tank if i steer too much PLUS I dont see the mirrors, if they are downwards :D

No. There is no way to "detune" your xj6. It is, because, they didnt "detune" it, they retuned it. The R6 has more hp, but lower Nm... the xj6 has more Nm but lower hp...

In my opinion you have to install the handlebar back on your bike. It looks awful how far the backlight looks out of the rearend. +the little gaps for the handlebar... install it back ;)

Looks like there is no gap if u use the cowl?! But maybe its the gel-seat!?

So, I got my FZ6R seats today and mounted them on my xj6... Fits nearly perfect in the lower position, not so good in the higher position... The black plastic plate isnt needed as much as I thought before... BUT, new problem :D There is a GAP between the two seats, like around 10mm wide. Its...

Here is what I customized with your measurement :) Edit: B = 18,5mm is way to much, made it to 14mm and it was ok...

I think that was me ;) but i am from germany ;) I got someone to try the driverseat without the plate underneath and he was kind enough to tell, that without the plate the seat will not fit properly. Here is the thread...

Thx for these opinions... I dont plan to "destroy" my original seat, but i am sure, that i am able to customize something, so that the seat will fit properly. But I have to wait, till the seats arrive. Then, I will compare the european and the US seat and will tell you the differences with pics :)
