I don't know about Texas, but I work at a Yamaha dealership here in California, and we are required by law to put at least 1 mile on every new bike we sell. Had they done that, i'm pretty sure they should have noticed. Like everyone else has said, don't let this dealership screw you.
It's actually an old casio 7.2 mega pixel digital camera on video mode. I got a spiffy little camera mount that uses the gas tank screws. I wish I was able to move it up higher so you could see more road and less handlebars, but then it would get in my way.
haha yeah you can post it wherever you'd like. a spirited run would be quicker in the corners, not on the straights. Anyone can go fast in a straight line lol. (not that it isn't fun in the right setting!!) On private land i've gotten my speedometer to say 137 or something.. which was 125 on my...
It is definitely sped up. The engine noise doesn't match his clutch movements, no one moves their handlebars that quickly while trying to balance, and the speed at which he passes the other moving cars isn't very high. Either way, when idiots ride like this, they create a bad image for us all.
lol. well as of now it looks like it would just be you and me. I'm off work at 1 tomorrow so i'll shoot home and check on here. I'm in Arcadia if you just want to meet somewhere local and head out there.
I go up Azusa Canyon then across the bridge and connect to gmr. The long sweeping stuff on the Azusa side makes for a nice little warm up then it's in to the fun tight stuff!
Started a new thread so this would get attention. All you so cal guys and gals.. lets ride Glendora Mountain Road this Saturday Evening. Meet at 2:30pm at the mobil Station on Azusa ave. Just north of the 210. All skill levels welcome. Post up if you're coming!
lol you worry too much! They're a good group to ride with, especially for beginners. There are alot of new riders in that group. I just got home from one of their bike nights.. you'll be fine. I'm thinking of heading up there Saturday around 2:30 for an evening ride if anyone wants in. I'll...
I've been to a couple SCAR events and I've heard of the one here in Arcadia. I want to start a get together focused more on getting out and riding rather than sitting at a random tea place talking about riding. :steve: Sitting around is cool too, but it just seems like that's all the other...
I get from a to b probably 25% faster on my bike. Not speeding, but the ability to fit into spaces that allow me to travel the speed limit more often, rather than being stuck behind cars. So when are all the so cal fz6r's getting together?!
