Wow, that's definitely something to keep in consideration. I would definitely love to see pics when you have the chance!

    Auxiliary Lights Options

Marthy, did you get the driving or the wide spread? I've been looking around for a light that casts the beam far rather than wide, so your input would be appreciated.

What Not To Wear (while riding)

I just rode down the street to the store, put on my leathers. Now I am going for a short 80 mile ride, putting on my leathers. Yea I'll be hot and yes I confident in my riding abilities, but you never know who is in the lane next to you, and for that I think it is worth always gearing up.

    Adjusting Throttle Free Play

Underneath the assembly of the throttle, there should be 2 covered cables protruding and going down in front of the forks and into the bike. At the base of the one nearest to the gas tank, there should be a nut and thread like plastic piece. You need to loosen the nut, then turn the plastic...

    OEM Centerstand

I'll take a look at my center stand in the morning and see if there is a place for that taller stopper. As far as the second spring, its main purpose is to provide redundancy, keeping the center stand from slacking and hitting the ground should the main spring fail.

    What is this part?

Its not broken, one of the snaps inside is just bent. You need to remove the painted black fairing then unscrew the fake air duct and straighten the piece.

HELP - Loose Bolt, or ridiculous coincidence?

Ah nice! I actually live in Covina, just seem to spend most of my time out and about. And no worries about being new, we've all been there and done that! Well I'm going to head out and finish changing the sprockets on the bike, I can take a picture of exactly where the bent piece would be if...

HELP - Loose Bolt, or ridiculous coincidence?

I had the same problem a while back! What you need to do is take of the painted fairing piece, then take off the air scoop and straighten a plastic guide piece in the top corner that got bent!! Then once that piece is straight, it can be reinserted into the main fairing and all is well! Also...

    FZ6R Sightings

Spotted a white 6R headed east on the 91 freeway, just past the 71 at around 7:10 pm! I was headed the opposite way and waved but don't know if you saw me!

    Chain issue.

If its an old chain, its stretched and should be replaced if its bad. Otherwise, check your sprockets for wear as well. If the chain isn't too bad, then just remember to tension it using the tight portion of the chain.

I sent mine off to get the Spencers Seat Mod done! It made a world of difference for me!

    Cushy Seat....again!

The farthest I went with the stock seat in a day was 630 miles, that was with the help of bicycle shorts. After getting the seat redone, I went from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas in a day, with no bicycle shorts. So the seat, with a little help, can be pretty comfortable. :)
