    Part Replacement

Ya I agree with you there on the old school tech. I was trying to find suitable LED bulbs instead but I needed the new tail light so bought a cheat replacement. It could have been my exuberance on a 2 mile dirt section headed to a friend's house that shock the poor filament to pieces. :D

    whats your breaking point

Hey now, we aren't always sunshine and warmth. This week is heavy rain and mid 50's, but I did catch a 30° reading on my on the bike thermometer last month. But I do agree, minus any ice and with the right gear, you could go riding in any weather you can personally stand.

New bike sat all winter--won't start

Well, without being able to listen to what the engine is doing, that is the only simple solution I can give. It could be another of other things ranging from bad fuel clogging the injectors, bad spark plugs, to an off air fuel mixture.

    Part Replacement

Hey guys and gals, just thought I'd start a thread about items on the bike everyone has chosen or been forced to change The main reason I started this, is because I just had to replace the tail light bulb. I have a little over 13k miles on the bike and it is something I didn't expect...

New bike sat all winter--won't start

It could be a number of things. It sounds like there's a lack of fuel getting to the cylinder. Firstly, try fully opening the throttle for half a minute or so, to allow the present fuel to exit the throttle bodies, then try starting it.

    New Mirrors

You should use the search and check out some threads that might answer your questions already. Well you could try these: Amazon.com: Yamaha Pig Spotter 2 Black Mirrors w/ Built-in LED Signals: Automotive But they are not good functionally.

Will everyone have a "mishap" sooner or later?

Alright well I don't think you have to ride with the fear that it will happen. I went down unexpectedly because I hit gravel at night, but no real damage was done and I believe it could have been prevented if I had the HID i have now or have slowed down. Another case is my dad. He has been...

How many miles on your bike?

Thought I'd do an update. 1 year and 4 months, 2 tires, several mods and about 82 full gas tanks later, I'm now in the middle of 13,000 miles and she hasn't let me down once!

My take on kryptonbulbs.com H4 Bi-Xenon HID kit

Here ya go. No drilling or cutting needed in this install. Just a bit of sanding for the ground you see in the center. The ballast bolted easily on the right, and i managed to find open spaces to zip tie the rest of the boxes.

My take on kryptonbulbs.com H4 Bi-Xenon HID kit

Cool pics. Anyone installing it in the future, I recommend bolting everything under the instrument gauge panel. Will provide pictures at request.

My take on kryptonbulbs.com H4 Bi-Xenon HID kit

Everything was plug and play, no real issues. I did have an issue of the fuse shorting on the frame, but that was quickly fixed with electrical tape!
