I have always thrown the gel pad (covered) on top of the seat... the problem with putting it underneath the leather/vinyl is that it heats up in the sun... and can down right burn you in the summer months...

KN is brand name mostly...plus its reusable... but you spend just as much on chemicals to clean and re oil that filter as you would on new filters, so its a wash...in my opinion... It doesn't apply here but As for turbo application KN is known to allow to much through the filter and chew up...

I weighed 210 at my peak weight... I know guys and girls that are bigger...
