You hit the nail on the head. When these things happened years ago in other countries or even other states we would see it in the inside of a newspaper weeks or even months later. Now it's instant sadness.
Shoei, I have three of them(one retired). I like the way they fit my head and the quality. It's all about fit and what is comfortable to each rider though.
