    First Accident!

All though I do my TCLOCKS inspections, I still take a few seconds (minutes?) to put the words to this acronym. :banghead: Haha! So, here's a reminder for everyone (or just me) for what it stands for. T - Tires & Wheels C - Controls L - Lights O - Oil C - Chassis K - Kickstand Here's...

My bike is no longer a virgin

That's how I dropped my bike the first time! Pulled into a parking lot wanting to get coffee at Starsucks and down she went. Oh yeah, kickstand! :surrender: That was my third day of having her. Thank goodness my cousin and I installed the frame sliders the night before. LOL

My bike is no longer a virgin

If it makes you feel better, I've dropped mine a total of two times - once each sides standing still :D Almost dropped her yesterday because my friend on his bike suddenly stopped in front of me, not even going 1mph and I grabbed a handful of front break instead of the rear. It took all the...

Trying not to hate the previous owner...

That's horrible man. I dislike finding odd stuff like that when I buy used too. Hope you don't find anything else that's wrong with your bike.

    lowering

I have the Roaring Toyz lowering link, lowered the fork by 0.75" and have the Roaring Toyz kick stand. I noticed increased confidence in knowing I can easily put my feet down and support the bike on both sides when needed. Specially on those times where there's a camber on the road on a stop...

Warm up / RPM limit before operating temperature

My dealer mechanic instructed (before releasing the bike to me) to warm the bike up to 117°ish before riding off. I've been following that ever since but I do not know if that's the right way?

Clip ons under the triple? Why yes... this way

Thanks for that, couldn't stop laughing. hahaha :D Thanks to Dakinechick (and friends) for finally getting the clip-ons installed. Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief and order ours! :D I am a little against cutting the plastic though, so I'll probably install it above the triple but...

    Teaching the wife to ride

Great job! I must say though, a scuffed up palm or finger(s) can slow down her progress and confidence. Please consider gloves when practicing. Ride safe.

    it sucks when...

You're put-putting down the street, on your merry way with a 50cc scooter. Then all of the sudden you have a 100+ pound Golden Retriever on an intercept course towards you. The 50cc isn't strong enough to slow down and take off (as they teach in MSF) so the big dog ends up in front of your...
