"What's in the boooooox?!?" - SNL Registration Proof of Insurance Brake Disc Lock Laguna Seca MotoGP Hat The compartment is really small compared to even an SS bike. lol

My first time being a sweeper

I hope since this video was posted that the KLX rider has taken MSF and practiced a lot in a controlled environment like a parking lot (or at least got a few pointers from you guys and read a lot about motorcycle survival :D). We were all new riders once so I'm sure we understand how it is to...

Watch this and tell me what you think

Man, this guy missed a lot of his childhood or something - I am not a professional in this field so I can't really provide a 'scientific' and accurate opinion. I can't say that this is good nor bad. Just trying my best to understand. People must do what they need to do to cope I suppose...

    1st day on here. 7day FZ6R owner.

Hi Anty, welcome to the forum and community! We hope you enjoy your ride and please let us know how we can be of assistance to you :) Although I do not know your background, I'd like to mention that if you haven't done so all ready, please take interest in your local MSF class. Hope that...

Bad form will get you everytime.

Yup, bad body position, scraped pegs or other parts which lifts the rear end. This results in traction taken away from the rear wheel as it slides (rider probably chops throttle). The wheel recovers traction, it catches and upsets the bike's current trajectory - results in a high side that bucks...

Bad form will get you everytime.

I've never been there, but I think some people are spectators at the spots where people usually go down? Cameras are probably set up there most of the time and people just hang out. Just my crazy speculation. Some of the other riders who've been through there might be able to shed light into...

Getting tired of my single headlight

I used to have dual-light envy for a while and then it just wore off by thinking my next bike (in addition to the FZ6R of course) will have a dual headlight setup. How about putting lights into the fake air intake? hahah :D Then you'll have three lights. Outfit a lens over the holes too...

Motorcycle crash in the news today 4/26/11

^^^ Since that video of the dude on a moto getting hit by the lady on 19th Avenue in San Francisco, I've been really *more* diligent in looking at the rear view every time I slow to a stop and finding the exit or cover (filter exit) at intersections. I think I remember the MSF instructor...

    Dropped it hard

I'm so sorry about the condition you found your bike in at the dealership. That's horse shit! The impound company should be responsible for that but I'm sure they aren't. I'm so mad for you  Arrgh! Anyway, glad you are feeling ok and seems to be recovering well. :)

    Recommended flush turn signals

You can get these "Magic Blinkers" from Custom LED. It basically turns your 2-wire LED turning lights to be a running lights as well as turn blinkers. I guess the next question is, does your blinkers/indicator LEDs have the capacity of being constantly on? With these Magic Blinkers, You...

    Rolling backwards in first...

I still practice on my driveway since I use the rear break method all the time. When I practice I often still kill the engine. lol Some of the hilly streets in San Francisco are still intimidating to me and I don't even try the front break and feathering technique. Maybe one of these days. :p
