Sold it for $2300 the very same night I posted it on craigslist. Needed new forks and new front tire. Yamaha racked up a list of $4300 in repairs but 50% of that was uneccesary and included things like replacing the gas tank for a tiny barely noticable dent and replacing the headlight and...
2013 white/red yamah fz6r with 390 miles. Still able to ride it however it pulls to the left due to some front end damage after going over a curb at an angle.
Selling it as is for $2,000 in central Florida area. There are only minor scrapes to the left side fairing and the left turn signal...
Had it checked by the dealership and they said that on top of new fork assemblies it needs a new front tire. I'm not looking to spend this kind of money on it, I have too many expenditures this year. With a slightly scratched left fairing, bad forks and bad front tire, how much should I expect...
Hit a curb and now needs new front tire and forks. There are some very thin scratches on the front left side of the plastic. I bought flush mount turn signals but never installed them, they are included. I have no clue what to price the bike at. I know forks are $800 + labor and tire is maybe...
Going to raise it up tomorrow and take the rest off for inspection. I hope this doesn't bend the headers. Got plywood on the floor jack arms and will put a jack under the rear swing arm on each side to steady it.
plastic and headlight removed so far
Thanks, ok so I have the small 3 ton car jacks and I can borrow one of these to put under the headers, I think its what Marthy does from his posts I read

"don't lift the front by itself."dart
Dart1963 is this because it might roll on you? I was looking to get just the front stand to save money. Maybe I could put two jacks under the foot pegs like you do prior to lifting the front? Or could I just put chucks on both sides of the rear tire so it...
Should I worry about changing fork oil and springs while I'm at it? Bike is for commuting to work and is my first bike ever and might be traded within 2yrs anyhow depending. Sorry the forum keeps rotating my vertical pics, have to tilt your head to the left to see the ones showing the forks
Wish me Luck. With the help of a friend of mine who has rebuilt his own cruiser and youtube, I will be taking my forks off. I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever so it will be a learning experience.
The reason for this is to assess the damage that occurred when I hit a curb at an angle...
Went with two small car jacks that I will put under the base of the footpegs like Marthy does. Thanks for the referral dart1963! Saved me $70 plus I can work on the rear tire in the future with that hillbilly method

I'm not sure why these links aren't working, sorry. But it's the $85 generic set of rear stand plus front triple tree stand. I suppose I can't remove the front trees to check for damage...
7Need to raise bike to replace forks and maybe triple trees as well but these stands seem to raise the bike by the tree?
