I went the r6 header way at first
Got headers bent the down pipes to clear the sump.
But didn't like the look.
So took my bike to a guy near me and got the cat cut off just behind the headers and had a
Link pipe made to fit onto my scorpion rear silencer .
Looks and sounds mint. Cut and...
tried the screwdriver trick.
waste of time.
got a scorpion rear can and went to a place in nottingham and had the box cut off the headers and a stainless link pipe made to the rear can sounds mint.
and a lot cheaper than a new full system. :)
have my stock exhaust cut at the headers and a link pipe made in stainless to fit onto my scorpion can. with the cat gone people can not say they didn't hear you. :D
with the cut just behind the headers the lambard sensor still has its original hole.

just fitted a scorpion rear can and had the stock exhaust cut just behind the headers.
the guy that did it has made me a custom link pipe that fits between the two.
sounds sweet now. :D
i have a knox contour back protector and dont ride with out it.
i have had 2 offs and its saved me twice.
the first time i would have broken my back as it was a fast crash
and its comfy as well when warn in
i have had my xj6 for 6 months and love it
i dont want to up grade as i have a 2009 r1 as well.
they are both different beasts but the xj6 makes me smile :D:D
