I got a nice email back apologizing. they had similar feedback about her from customers this week and terminated her employment because of how negatively she was treating customers.

email sent. Thanks everyone for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Hearing your responses helped me not take it too seriously. Also I'm usually very un-confrontational about anything and everything (last week I ate a shrimp burrito when I ordered fish). So thanks for the encouragement to...
now i wish I had. better to just forget about it and move on now I guess.
some sales method that is. not for me though. when I did retail it was all about making the customer feel good about their choices. Thanks for the supportive words! :D
I was at the dealership where I got my 6r a few years ago today looking at dirt bikes with my brother today. At one point a sales person comes up and asks us what we ride and if we have any questions. When we told her I had an fz6r she said she was disappointed, and that it was a neutered 600...
Changed the coolant and oil. Long overdue for the coolant, the stuff that came out was pretty gross  some very useful posts on this forum helped me through it though and it was pretty easy. Then I went for a ride with my dad and brother, got to ride their bikes: street triple R and f3 800...
put some new shoes on her! my PR2's lasted me about 10k miles but I needed a new rear because of a puncture that was plugged but started leaking again. still had plenty of tread. trying out some shinko 009s, can't ride them till tomorrow though. they were much cheaper but i'm hoping they're be...
rode it with Sascha today! so much fun (: before this I've only been up there in a car... whole different experience! conditions couldn't have been better. early birthday present from the weather gods lol. can't wait till the next ride. we hope we can get some other San Diegan members to join...
incredible.
i still think we need different kinds of bikes though, while with all their skills that stuff was doable, some of them would have been much more practical for the average human to do on different bikes.
+1 on MSF course. and lots of time in the parking lot.
cycle gear has a cheap line of gear called Bilt, but you're probably gonna want something nicer in the long run. head into a motorcycle shop and try on stuff to see what you like the look and feel of!
oh and welcome! :) you're gonna love...
congrats on the new bike! looks really good.
of course you get to stick around, I feel like we have a lot of non-6r owners who stuck around when they made the switch.
enjoy!
