  • The main problem with the stock screen is that it accelerate the air right under your helmet. This is the reason why you have so much turbulance. Two way to fix the problem. You can cut your screen 3" to 4" to get more leanear air or you get one of my screen. There's a thread about it. I should get them around the 15th of this month. 6 out of 10 are already reserved... Let me know if you're interested. They're going to be the same shape, just a lighter tint. I couldn't get the same tint with Polycarbonate (Lexan)

    Hope it help...

Sounds great! I really dig the white. You just don't see a ton of white bikes on the road. I've only done two mods. I added a brake light modulator from Vizi-Tech. It flashes the brake light before it stays on solid. It's programmed well to only let this happen if you've been off of the brakes for more than 20-30 seconds. (Doesn't bug people in traffic) The other mod was replacing the stock shield with the Yamaha Double Bubble clear shield. I've only been around the neighborhood with it on, so no opinion yet, but it seems to be what I needed for a bit more wind protection.

There are so many cool things that guys are doing on here, but I really like the bike the way it is, so I'm not sure how I can justify sinking a bunch of money in it yet. Really considering putting the Two Brothers Black Carbon exhaust on when I can afford it. My wife isn't sure about increasing the sound for when she rides, but I don't think it will be that bad.

    Any mods in your future?
Here are some pics with tank covers.

Hey, I wish you would have asked before you purchased the bike! My dealer actually swapped out the tank on my 2009 with a 2010 all white tank. His sales rep allowed him to do it for no cost in order to sell the bike. He actually had another one on his floor the last time I was in there that was identical to mine.

My only suggestions at this point would be to either have the tank re-painted (expensive and scary) or try to find some tank grips that mount on the side and cover the pink flames. (Check out PurpleDrank's bike for an example of this)
