i got my fz1 and dear god is it a night and day difference i highly reccomend it to anyone wanting to upgrade later its rides so much smoother and with two people on it its like riding with one no sag at all and as for power you better hold on tight its a fast fast machine

ya i put it back to stock today and sorry to say im trading it in..my local dealer has a leftover 08 fz1 and i want it:thumbup:

well i finally did it.....straight pipe....video is up!!! so i took my one piece off and cut the black box "cat" off with a bandsaw very very cleanly so i can always put it back to stock.. i took a 3'' exhaust pipe piece with a slight curve in it and angled tip and butted it up and welded it...

i oredered mine form parts unlimited for a 08 fz6 and they bolt right up to the R with no cutting you just have to push a lil bit of the fairing back while you tighten the left side they were like 40 buck alot cheaper than the NO-CUT .....i would rather find a crash cage as the sliders put all...

the bike in the video looked like it ran damn good and sounded beautiful :rockon:

im thinking about straight piping my exhaust with a nice tip on it ....i plan on cutting the stock cat off right at the manifold and welding a 3in diameter straight pipe in its place the same lenghth with a 70 degree bend on the end with a nice tip basically come out the same as the stock but...

i bet if he gutted the stock 3-way cat it would sound good i want to gut mine bad but just cant figure out what to do about the tiny outlet if i do...

i have yet to get over 25mpg:eek: i cant figure out why it might be the way i ride but it still should be better than that even if i rip it alot i would think

same here...my dealer said they just say that to cover their ass but to get the most power and good break in they said ride it like you stole it because the "warm up cool down" is a myth and your rings actually seat within the first 20 miles the bike is rode..... What's The Best...

im 20 and ya its my first bike but i usually ride my buddies bikes,,,,,the first time i ever rode i was 15 and rode my buds cbr 600RR balls to the wall no problem i just got the need for big power idk thats just me and no im not into stunting but i love going 120+ on open roads for short times...

not a bad choice but your going to get tired of it fast in my opinion i wish i wouldve got a fz1 now that ive rode mine balls to the wall i need alot more power but thats just me
