I got t-boned by a car wearing my Shoei RF-1000 and after all the rolling around I did after the hit, my helmet was really banged up with scratches and paint chips just missing from it. I stayed completely conscious the whole time.
I was wearing my Joe Rocket leather jacket...can't remember...
Yessir it is a Texas thing. When I got married my dad ordered cases of Big Red in glass bottles and brought them out to Vegas for us to have something Texas at our wedding. We actually did our toast with Big Red bottles. Nectar o' the Gods, it is. :D
I live on the Eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country. I ride there because it's in my backyard, it's gorgeous scenery, awesome roads and great little town destinations.
If you are ever this far South, you have to ride the Hill Country. It's the law....or something. :)

I carry my Kershaw in my bag (if I have one) and my little CRKT in my front left pocket (I'm a lefty). I noticed when I saw this thread that I left my CRKT in my pants from this weekend. Here's the Kershaw. Anniversary present from my husband last year:D

Yeah, there are a lot of random little things he put on to make it pretty, but my favorite mods are the two brothers exhaust, Rizoma bar and DynoJet Power Commander. That exhaust is pretty stinkin' loud and I love it. :D
