Hi everyone! I'm new here I've been looking everywhere to try and find some answers to a couple questions that have to do with the exhaust of my bike (2009 fz6r) and i can't figure it out.
So here goes maybe someone can help.
My buddy has an R6, the headers look identical to mine (same engine) but it changes when you get to the "box" where the chambers, baffle and cat is. His is stock with just a tose exhaust slip on and it sounds great. Id love to have that if i can just bolt the whole thing on even if i have to make a few modifications to make it fit, im not looking for performance gains i just want it to sound great and not lose any power. Since that r6 exhaust is chambered and catted and baffled as well will i still lose back pressure? will i need a tune? The reason i am considering that r6 stock exhaust is because i can find them cheap on ebay and with a few modifications i can make it fit on my bike but i never see anyone bolt the entire thing on they always cut the "box" off, and weld a slip on which is straight pipe and i dont want that.
Any info would help out a lot!
