2012 fz6r on ebay for 1500 bucks. the bike has 1400+ miles on it. sounds to good to be true to me. that bike should be a min of 6k easy

Says the bike has a reserve that hasn't been met yet, so it's doubtful they will sell it for that low. At least that is how I'm seeing it.

I'm an eBay impulse buying addict. But I wouldn't buy a bike. The plus side is it's from a dealer so you can do some research and get an idea of their rep. But short of seeing it and giving it a test ride, I think it would be crazy, no matter what the price.

I didn't take the time to read it, but the AS-IS disclaimer jumped out at me.

It's a good time of year to buy a bike. You should be able to find a dealer with a new 2012 desperate to unload it - could get a good deal...

That is how I scored my R6.

Although the dealer was local, and I had seen it at the auctioneers a fortnight earlier (but didnt have cash for it available then).

If it is close by, swing past and give it a shot -who knows

I don't think it's real fishy considering the reserve. I usually don't bid on anything unless it's no reserve or the reserve has been met.

I say go see it in person. And the as is wouldn't bother me as much considering it could have scratches on paint and other stuff like that.
