Brooke wants to get me a jacket for summer after I about heat stroked yesterday in my leather jacket(non perf) and it was only after about 30 minutes of riding.

I've been a long time fan of FirstGear and Cortech (Tourmaster). Mesh jackets are quite safe but the buyer needs to know these are single use only. One off and you are typically replacing the jacket. I got lucky on my first off and hit grass on landing so the jacket was unscathed. The second off wore a hole through the mesh but the armor held and did the kob. Not a mark on me! Trashed that one and bought a new one just like it.

I have this one but in Blue/black.

i really love the Alter ego 3.0 its a nice cold day jacket/rain day jacket and if its warm just take the outer layer off and it breaths better then Hoody and still offers protection but its expensive

At my dealership, it was closeout, it was $79 and the guy behind the counter said give me that jacket so when I did he said how's $49 sound, I asked I will buy em all for that priceLOL BUT that was the last one. I just got lucky CC.

My HOT summer jacket is the Tourmaster Sonara Air. It is 600D mesh throughout, with I believe upgraded 1680D in the impact areas. It also has hardened armor in the shoulders and elbows. It has 3 parts to it. It has an insulated liner, then also a wind/rain liner you can zip into it when needed. Price on BikeBandit is about $180 I think.

I just got the Joe Rocket at an unbeatable price of $49.99! I really like it.

I paid nearly $150 for mine. It is a decent jacket. Airflow is good. The liner is helpful for cool mornings. It won't protect like good leather but not getting heat stroke is far more important than the extra protection. It does have some decent armor in the back, shoulders and elbows.

I just bough Sedici pant/jacket from CGear. I got the boots about a month ago and like the quality for the price. It's a mesh jacket and pant. Look like good quality, or as good protection as a mesh suite will give you.
