I haven't done it yet but am planning on it. Just found 2 places in my neck of the woods that I'm going to get quotes from and will let you know what they charge. I will post pictures up when its all done!

Thinking about doing the same myself, but in Anthracite Gray. Was advised to remove wheel bearings\tyres prior to Powder Coat, as they will not withstand the heat process. Also make sure the Powder Coaters don't coat the inside off the bore where the bearings would refit too, as refitting may become a real pain.

Adding some metal flake to the mix may turn out real trick....

over the winter, while the bike is safe from stupid road salt, im going to powder coat my wheels a deep red, along with a few other small parts, to kinda match the sticker haha. i have black btw

As long as your parts will withstand temps of 400-450 degree's F, they will be fine to leave in/attached ect. Also, powdercoats have a high mil build up. So it will become very thick very quickly, and it is a pain to sand or blast. I can do small parts in my shop, but I couldn't coat a set of wheels. To big for my oven.

I've been thinking about having several things powder coated, in a nice red to match the accents on the Raven FZ6R.

I just found a shop in the area and they can do a day turnaround on smaller items and 5-7 business days on wheels.

I just sent my wheels in Friday to get powder coated red, plus some more things added to my bike, hopefully I get back in a couple of weeks!

The dealer told me that many people who were coming into the shop were asking if my bike was for sale!! LOL! HELL NO!:p Their gonna have to buy one and fix it up themselves!

Nice bike,...... it seems to match you which makes it even more special!! This bike, being what it is, lends itself to being personalized. For many you never forget the first one, U-No..........this is a great bike, first or not.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (You can take all external stickers off and save them for U if necessary, no tech needs them and that's from my dealer 2 me.)
