Is anybody familiar with Xelement's gear? I'm interested in their motorcycle riding pants and they seem to have really good pricing. Here is the webpage I've been looking at: Xelement Gear: Advanced Motorcycle Jackets, Biker Boots, Motorcycle Saddlebags, Leather Chaps, Pants, Vests, and Footwear.
Is it quality? Hard to tell without seeing it in person :confused:

I have a jacket and a pair of riding boots from Xelement. The one thing I won't blame Xelement is high quality. :)

For the price point they are selling you won't find anything better. For any rider on a tight budget Xelement in my opinion is a reasonable choice at a fair price. I mean.... for the jacket and pair of boots mentioned above I payed $125 compared with my Teknic Violator jacket and boots witch was a little over $700, plus add to that the Teknic Chicane leather pants and you are at $950.

Long story short, Xelement, especially for the two items mentioned above it's a good choice. I'm really pleased with the boots, they are comfortable and they offer a decent amount of ventilation. The jacket I mainly use in cold weather, in witch it acts as a good wind blocker while still offering basic protection, plus I really like the reflective stripe while riding after dark.

Heineken: Thanks for the response> Quality of Xelement is about what I figured. BTW, those are the boots I have been looking at, they are out of stock right now. How is the sizing? I've read conflicting reports to go up half a size or more. Is there decent protection? I'm wearing my lace up work boots right now so any riding boot has to be better...

Been looking at riding pants but I don't want to spend a wad o' cash because I want to see if they are something I'll use ALL the time like my jacket. For $60, I'll just give them a chance and see if they're worth it. If I do, I can always go up in quality.

Sizing: I'm anywhere between 8.5 and 9 US on most brands, I picked 9 for the boots and they fit me well.

Protection: This boot is a entry level with basic protection, but at an awesome price point. I must say I was surprised when I got the boots, they look like something you would spend $100 . Plus they are comfortable even when walking. I will use them for some time, because they just fit the job, but when the time to upgrade comes...or ... if the budget permits I've been looking at these bad boys. :))

For everyday short rides I always use the Xelement boots. But when I go touring or longer trips I use all the Teknic gear.

I wish I knew about this site before I bought my gear. I can't believe the pricing! The stuff looks pretty well made from the pics.
