Tire repair

Just wondering as I haven't had anything in my tire but I really should get something just in case to keep in the bags. Should I get a repair kit with compressed air cannister or that green slime stuff again with compressed air can?

That slime stuff is nasty, and as someone who used to change tires for a living, I can say that the guy who changes your slimy rim/tire won't be so happy with you for using it. There are kits that work well for motorcycles, here is a list from motosport.com:

On that note, a patch is a limp home measure. I've known people to get a lifetime out of a patch, but there are a lot of variables to consider and in my opinion once a tire is patched it is subject to suspicion and replacement asap.
