running temp???

I just bought a 2009 FZ6R that now has just over 2000 miles. I was wondering what the average running temp is for this bike. Mine tends to run in the mid 180's and if i sit at a stop light for more than a minute it gets over 200 and the fan kicks in. Is this normal?

Oh, back to the topic, temps are as normal as hitting 11k rpm in every gear...

Yeah, dont freak out when you hit 220 in the middle of summer =)

the owners book even has a section that mentions you shouldn't be concerned with the temp until you 240-275, and that anything over 275 you should turn the bike off and let it cool down.
