The thing is.. I can not seem to find many aftermarket parts for this bikes. Are parts from another Yamaha model compatible. Such as parts from an R6 or XJ6? We noticed today when I went to take it for my first spin that the brake lever is also bent on the handlebars, also the brake by the foot peg is slightly bent. We have pictures of these things to talk to Yamaha about. But I would really like to get them replace soon.

I think just about any foot peg would work. The levers from the FZ6 and FZ1 are compatible, maybe the foot pegs are as well. :don'tknow:
Plus, I think that Yami should be responsible for replacing and repairing any of the damage sustained from the broken foot peg. I stand on mine all the time while riding, and they both look fine. It sounds like it was a fluke and a defective cast.
