I asked a woman about the toilet seat once, she said "If the seat is up and we go to the toilet at night, we might sit on the cold porcelain accidently, have you ever sat on cold porcelain ?"

I'm thinking, "Nah, I'm not that stupid, even in the dark".
I say, "Oh yeah, that would be cold, you could even get stuck in the toilet if you're not careful".

I put the seat down to avoid the *****ing (I have 2 step-daughters and a son). It's funny when they all *****, because I say the same thing about having to lift the seat. Guess they'd rather we piss on the seat. I certainly would never sit before looking at the seat. Guess if the lid is down they're screwed. Same goes with sitting down and realizing there's no TP in there. Well guess what, if you knew you needed TP it would have been a good idea to check before you go to the bathroom. This is an ongoing battle. LOL
