Pulling out appears not to be such a money saving option afterall

I read in MCN (motorcycle news) that they could face a £20 million fine for breach of contract as they agreed to participate from 2007 untill 2011..apparently a motoGP season costs around £24M ..so i wonder what will happen next

To save 20M just put up a rider and a standard Z for a couple of years :)

It will be pretty embarrassing if the privateers do better than the factory team did...

They could probably negotiate the fine to be paid over 4 or 5 years?

I don't think they will change there minds, the riders and technical guys would already have started negotiations with the other teams. Personally I think that they way that they went about suddenly withdrawing without notice; would create a very unpleasant new work environment.
