FZ6 Rear Rim on FZ6R

I have been doing a lot of research in effort to install a wider tire on the rear (mainly for looks).

In my research I have found that some people have successfully installed 180 tire on the stock 4.5" rim of their FZ6R. I have also seen where a lot of people have mentioned not to do it due to potential risk of tire coming off the rim.

Now the FZ6 came with a 5.5" rear rim and 180 tire on it.

Does anyone know if the FZ6 rim can be installed on FZ6R. Mainly what I want to know is that if I have to swap the Rotor and the Sprocket, does both the wheels have the same bold pattern.

Go here and pull up both parts seeing what changed. Mind you a color change is a different PN....

If bearings and spacers have the same pn a good chance the wheel fits with the same offset. Mind you this will hurt your turn in....

@ Final Impact. Thank you for the response. I will compare them and post back here.

I don't take my bike to the tracks neither do I have any twisty roads around here so for normal riding do you think it will be a significant impact to the turn in. I realize there will be some negative impact but hoping its not too bad.

FZ6 has a 120/70 front on a 56.7" (1440mm) wheel base. Turn in is improved by sliding the stanchion tubes up the triple 10mm....

All twists where I live!!!
