Comfort Seat

Hey Folks

I am new to the forum so hey to everyone and sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

I love my bike (yellow) for sure, I now have 7000km on it since I started riding it in April. However I have one complaint.

I find the seat to be very uncomfortable after about an hour of riding. Ass-numbing uncomfortable.

Yamaha offers a "Comfort Seat" for an astronomical price of $249 CAN.

My question is: Has anyone purchased this seat and if so, is it worth the money?

Rumor has it Corbin has one in the works, I would wait for that seat personally...

I have read some negative things about the "comfort seat" and how the break in period never goes away.

I have the Yamaha one on backorder. If it ever gets here I'll be sure to let you know.

I agree about the seat, pretty uncomfortable. I picked up some padded biking shorts for now, which helps a little.

I have sat on a few bikes and thought the FZ6R had the best seat myself... I have spent 8 hours or so riding in a single day a few weeks back and found it quite comfy, yet I expected MUCH worse..
