suspension

Is it possible to have a seal go bad on the rear shock? It seems like there's some oily substance on it that looks like maybe dried suspension oil..??

Any recommendations on improving the rear suspension? I have Racetech gold fork emulators and springs in the front, and that improved the front suspension immensely, I'm looking to improve the back too but not finding much info on my options..?

Anyone here upgrade their suspension? Will the front end of an R6 and the rear shock fit on a FZ6R? If not the whole front end then perhaps the tubes? Or have any of you gone with Racetech kits and Ohlins or Penske rear shocks? I realize that the later upgrades aren't cheap but I would prefer to...
