...And there is no thread or discussion on it? Seems weird such a massive thing can happen that has got the world on edge, yet there is no discussion on it. Or am I just missing the thread?
Virtually no Americans were on it so has it not received any media coverage over there?
Da troof.
Yours is not restricted. These bikes are just slow (in comparison to other sports bikes).
If the newer models have a more relaxed restriction this is a good thing. I never understood why they restricted it do much when in unrestricted form it is only a bees dick over LAMS power...
As a HUGE hockey fan (yeah, I know I am an Aussie) I will be glued to the telly waiting for every bit I can. This is the only time it is on TV here, and is very popular when it is (well very few games are shown on cable, but I don't have that). I just hope like hell they just feed directly from...
Doing a single lens, daily challenge for the month again. Using a 30yo Zenit Helios 44m-6 58mm prime lens. These lenses are renowned for their bokeh but are pretty useful for just about anything
First 5 days...
I figure my lens is old I may as well make my images look the same...
Yeah.. Very different to your older stuff. You playing some chillout rooms?
Seeing as this thread is alive and kicking again, here is a mix I made last year for one of my other forums. Was a competition, but votes were sent out to facebook for randoms to vote on, so it came down to a who can...
FRED REVIVAL!!!!
Been a while since anyone was active here. I've been keeping up with it, here and there. My other creative outlet (photography) has taken a lot of my attention in the last year so haven't played as much as I was. But still belt out the odd mix.
I've kinda given up planning...
A couple recents from me.
This one looks heaps better on Flickr with a dark background (click it)
I was using my daughters doll as a model to demonstrate the affects of different focal lengths to a friend. Thought I may as well process one to keep.
And a selfie...
Wish they were available back when I bought mine (first ever sold and registered in qld, possibly the country). I much prefer naked with this level of bike.
Good luck with it. Don't imagine it will be easy. I just recently did a "Single in" challenge for December where I had to use the one lens for the whole month, posting a picture each day.
I used a 31mm prime lens. What a challenge that was... I needed a break by the end of it. But forced me to...
Mines registered as an XJ6F which is what they were supposed to be. But the original shipment all came with Us spec decals so they decided to change it rather than try to fix the **** up.
I consistently see about one a day. There are about 10 getting round my town of about 30k people. But my town has a higher than average income so the young people on power restrictions can afford them. I am guessing the local Yamaha dealer has done well selling them.
Mario said it took a full load of fuel (100 litres?) to get to Brisbane (600km) towing a boat and going a tad fast.
One of the other guys was telling us how his mates were caught up north during the Aussies day floods earlier in the year. They made up a poly pipe snorkel and went through a...
Not mine that one... My VE Calais on 22" rims doesn't like this kind of road.
But that thing was amazing. V8 diesel with a bit of work done to it. It left us for dead every time, hence no action photos of it. I don't even think they engaged the front dif?
Went on a day trip with some work mates four wheel driving up to Kroombit Tops National Park. One of the highlights of this park is it is the final resting place for Beautiful Betsy, a B24 Liberator from WW2 that went missing in 1945 and lay undiscovered until 1994.
