HOLY CRAP!!! That looks like a GREAT ride! I wonder if I can talk my wife into letting me take a trip from Texas to Cali just to go for a ride? Hmmm....probably not. Let me know if you guys ever come to TX. We'll play in the hill country.
Looks like a good road. There are so many people in the forum in California that I might have to visit there someday. The central Texas area has some pretty awesome routes but few FZ6R people. Oh well...I will just continue to make GSXR and Ninja riders respect the FZ6R.
I firmly believe that less is more when it comes to graphics. I just finished taking off most of the graphics decals from my bike today. I think I will keep it like this for a while.
I am obligated to tell you that both of my parents and my brother and his wife are all Auburn graduates. War Damn Eagle brother!!! We now continue with your regularly scheduled thread...
Mine is a nickname that I picked up while stationed in Korea and is based on a Steve Miller song...there is a rather long story behind it all actually but that is for another time...
Here's my baby, freshly washed and ready to go. I personally like the Trojan mirrors and can see just fine with them. The trick is in adjusting them right. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Just turned 40 and this is my first street bike. Rode a dirt bike when I was young enough to do REALLY stupid things on a bike. Now I just shred corners...heh heh.
I bet it would look great. If you already have a second windsrcreen, paint the stock one and see how it looks. When I was at Home Depot they had a really good selection of colors. I personally think that black would look good on a yellow bike, but thats just me. If it makes you feel any better...
It would look like...um...the same color. Sorry, but I couldn't resist. I used a spray paint by Rustoleum that is made for plastics. You want to tape off the edges with masking tape to avoid over-spray, of course. The paint was about 5 or 6 bucks at Home Depot. It was sooooo easy and looks...
Here in Texas it is technically legal, but it is HIGHLY discouraged. We have an awful lot of SUVs and really big Pick Ups here and they don't always think to look before changing lanes. Lane splitting/sharing is so frowned on that it will usually get you a ticket regardless of the speed. I have...
Yeah...JonKerr called it on this one. From getting your bike almost stolen (good thing you didn't give them permission) to this. There has to be something that you are doing to draw attention. Could be in riding style or wardrobe. I wouldn't worry too much about this cop though. The chances of...
I think it's TFC5815. I had to get some touch up paint after I jumped through a barbed wire fence...another story for another time. I went to Motorcycle Paint :: Touch Up, Aerosol & Refinish Paint - ColorRite and I'm pretty sure that was the code. You might want to check it yourself. Good luck!
Here some pics of my windscreen. I took the stock one and gave it a new look. The sides (where it is rougher inside) are still clear. I thought this looked good with the black screws. Also, the rim is still clear, which also gives it an interesting look. If anyone likes this I would be happy to...
It's a good theory. Let's hope that it actually happens that way. Of course, then I will find stuff that I prefer over what I have already put on the bike and will have to mod it all over again....oh the burden...;)
