Nope haven't tried it without the tip yet it came installed in the can, I may take it out tomorrow to see the difference but most likely keep it in, so far I love the sound its not obnoxious loud like you said but sitting on the the bike for a while does give me a headache :o might start wearing...

anyone else' chain make alot of noise? I've cleaned and lubed a few times checked the adjustment and its just LOUD, louder than any of my friends bikes...:confused:

:p haha well I've ridden 2up a few times now never really payed attention to the sag or bothered to change the rear suspension... :eek: but i think she only weighs 110 and im 170 so was cake :thumbup:
