Here are a couple of photos of the frames, without bags, and the attachment points. It should work with the FE as it doesn't bolt to the fender, but uses the bolt points under the rear seat. It currently sits under the fender, but it would be easy enough to modify to make it work without.

Finally got the hard bags and rack from GIVI on Saturday and they fit!!! I also think they look pretty good....for hard luggage! It took a couple of hours to fit the racks, but was very easy. The best thing is that the side racks are quick release so you can take them off when you don't want...

You're right, TwistedThrottle has great gear for the FZ6, however, the FZ6R Givi mounting racks for the hard bags have only just been released in the last few weeks.
