adjust your rear shock preload if you have a passenger riding with you ,the plate wont hit the wheel anymore and if its sagging that much you should've adjusted the preload regardless of the plate hitting the wheel or not
I wouldnt do it ,go with a 170 if at all possoble ,180 has a 5.5 inch rim recommanded with 5 as the minimum ,way off the 4.5 fizzer has.
170 should look nicer AND handle better/as good as the og 160 so no reason to go with 180 in comparison
Hello,
Does anyone know if these 2 bolts serve any purpose other than to hold the little metal piece fairings attach to as they seem to be stripped on my bike?

Old thread ,but I have only good things to say about Fabbri windscreen I got and it is a lot nicer looking than stock imho.

Until the Temp of the bike reaches at least 75C(167F) the throttle response is awful and I'm pretty much unable to blip the throttle on downshifts since revs bog down after 3k RPM
Do you guys have the same behaviour on your bikes?
My bike does both of the two things you mentioned, not sure how severe your issues are, but I consider this to be pretty normal on my machine, I'm most likely due for a throttle body sync
Put the bike in a false neutral for the first time ,scared the balls off me ,thought that the transmission exploded and she was done for
Turns out I didn't do any damage to it and she runs just fine.
Greetings all,
I'm enjoying my life as the owner of my first motorcycle ,however it is not worry-free.
I have noticed that my idle RPMs are not constant ,as they are on my car ,but rather the RPM needle seems to occasionally dip or increase by cca100 RPMs.
Tried the good ole trick with spraying...

Hello good people of this forum,
I've newly acquired a 2009 Yamaha XJ6 Diversion with 23000KMs which is pretty much the same as the good ole FZ6R
Seems to be alright so far and it does put a smile on my face every time I see it
However ,it does have one issue which is bugging me
The story goes...
