I was thinking of installing a Mobius Dash cam inside the mirror. The mirrors are cheap enough, im not afraid to cut into them once i found out the end goal was possible. The dash cam separates from the lens and its possible to run the usb power cable up the mount to behind the glass...

anyone taken the glass from a mirror out of the enclosure? either on purpose or accident? I see a small hole on the underside, but it appears to just be a water drain hole. Im looking for a safe and repairable way to get it out but it's not obvious right away.
