In need of some help for streetfighter conversion

The caps on the other side stay on, they bolt threads into them. You just need to remove the bolts with a long enough wrench to get good leverage.

    Sprockets/Speed Question

Get counting. The sprockets usually have the tooth count printed on them, but they might be facing the wrong way. Correct, stock is 16/46.

These are the diagrams I used btw: https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/browser/manufacturer/yamaha/bike/xj6n/year/2011/model/xj6n-20sb-2011-050-a/country/france/colour/black-metallic-x The perch I bought I think was off the north american FZ8. 100% identical to the one on the XJ6, so not sure why...

Yup, it's the clutch lever perch, but with a threaded mirror post on it as well. If you're using bar end mirrors, no need for it! Don't forget pics when you start yours :D

Thanks for the compliments :) It's funny because nobody here knows wtf my bike is lol, people keep asking and I have to explain it's the naked FZ6R. Someone even pulled up alongside me at a stoplight and asked "Is that the FZ09?" :p Nope, never had a Mazda 3. Not sure where in Toronto you...

Nope, the headlight and side fairings are completely separate. Go nuts ;) Edit: Actually... can you clarify. Are you planing to keep the entire FZ6R front cowling (windscreen and everything around the headlight)? If so, that won't work.

    Help, Is this transmission issue?

Great video showing how a motorcycle transmission works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EMIdGgsQ68 Excess oil won't cause a clutch/transmission to slip (though it's still not good for the bike). Excess oil is sucked up by the bike's positive crankcase ventilation and dumped into the...

    Help, Is this transmission issue?

When the wind is blowing you around you need to stay loose on the controls. "Holding on for dear life" is only making things worse. You control the bike by counter-steering with your arms. If the wind is blowing you around, your arms are moving around. The stiffer you are, the more of that...

I've posted the updated list in the second post :) I would personally order the headlight shrouds if I were you. My pictures are a bit dark so you can't really see, but it looks very unfinished without them; you can see all the wiring, etc. behind. It's not very pretty. I decided not to...
