So besides the poor mpg, ive found a new thing when im down shift to come to a stop,by maching the rpm from 3k-1.5k it popes back throw the intake !!! Any one heard of this before? I talked to my dealer and there going to call yamaha :(
Thanks marthy that's what I was thinking ..... Another thing is that after 200-250 miles the idel came up from 1200 to 1600 so I turned it back down..

I don't know if it has to do with me ridding upper 30's-40's out side I was thinking the bike would do better if it was running closer to 200 derg. than 163 going down the free way ;)
Ok just put the 3rd tank in and its was 141 and 3.9 gal. My old zx11 did that and it was a 1100cc ! But i'm riding in 30-40 deg. Out side that may play a part ? My old kz550 was getting 50's in this cold and i was riding it harder.....

So I got a new 2013 fz6r for Christmas and It had one tenth of a mile on it..so im in to my 2nd tank of gas and the mpg SUCKS ...im following the brake in. and not running it down the free way im just going back roads in the 50mph and no stop lights... Any thoughts :confused:
