    Front tires wearing quickly?

From what everybody that rides has told me I should go through 2 rears to every 1 front tire. But for me it goes the other way around. So for I have wasted the stock front Bridgestone in less then 4000 miles. The rear one was finished in 8000 miles. As from my review I replaced the stock rubber...

    Another fz6r goes by by

Have to say you did pretty well on the trade in value on your bike. I looked at trading my 2012 in today and with less then 300 bucks in damage from a low speed slide and over 9000 miles they only wanted to give me $3500 for my bike. But yeah congrats on the new ride!

    When to change the oil....

Yeah I will play it safe and change the oil on the bike. For oil change intervials to me depends on the vehicle and the amount of miles when I picked up the said vehicle. For my Pontiac I run Mobile 1 and change it at 5k. The Subaru I run Mobile 1 and that gets changed at 7500.

    When to change the oil....

At my 4k mile oil change I switched to Yamalube 15-50 full synthetic and it has been great....but now coming up to my 8k mile service the oil still looks good, and still a somewhat clear gold color and has tacky ness between your fingers. By the way the oil looks I almost feel like I can keep...

    q2 or anget gt...

Your commute sounds alot like mine.... I have the GT's on my bike and I love them... I wasted my stock front in less then 4k miles and the GT now has almost 4k miles on it and it still looks like new. Great tires and awesome grip in the rain, never had a uh oh moment in the wet yet.

    GRRR!!! I hate gravel roads!

This is more a rant then anything, the county I live in has decided to tar and chip all of the side roads...well there on there way to finish all off them. It's not I can't ride on gravel I just choose not too. Also I am sure the gravel is just going to kill sport touring tires in no...

Just wanted to express the importance of safety gear.

From what I was told from people that have been in accidents they said"I would rather deal with broken bones then road rash".

Just wanted to express the importance of safety gear.

In another post I stated I accendtly did a burnout by that I mean when I thought I was in second gear and went take off and it turned to be in first along with a rear tire past its wear bars it turned to be an eventful evening. And for the gear I was glad to be in full gear from head to toe...

Well I cannot answer for the rear tire but as for the front there is over 3k miles on it and it still looks as new as the day it was installed.

    Heated glove liners

I know you wanted to stay away from plug in liners but after many many glove combos with many more different liners I took the plunge and ordered a set from Powerlet. I couldn't tell you how they compare to Gerbings but they are very nice...feel like a pair of silk liners and the heating element...

    Starter not aligned?

I had a small spill last night....nothing too major but I accidentally did a burnout at less then 10 mph and went down hard on the left side of the bike, everything seem fine expect a broken mirror and bent shift lever. Got home look over the bike again straighten out the lever and went to start...

    big let down. any suggestions

Yeah our topend is not the greatest, I don't know even know why our rev limit is set to almost 12k rpm, it just makes noise and loses steam after 9500 rpm. I am even to the point of trying to install a shift light so I know at 9800 rpm to upshift.

    Pirelli Angel Gt first review

My coworkers tell me that I push it too hard through the turns... I think it might have something to with the dirt and gravel roads I travel through sometimes. Also on the front tire review I have a little over 1200 miles on it now and I am still loving it, and the bike is still handling...

Another addition to the bike for touring....

The outlet itself is pretty deep almost 2 inchs. And for the windshield I am liking it, keeps a lot of the wind and rain off of me. The problem I am having when it is really hot and that I always wear a jacket it gets toasty because all of the wind is off of me now.

Another addition to the bike for touring....

It was pretty cheap, the port after shipping was about 25 bucks. And I really didn't want to put it there but there wasn't enough room on the dash.

    Pirelli Angel Gt first review

Well I was caught in a down pour on my 25 mile commute home. I don't push my bike too fast in the rain but I did feel safe and sound, until I got to my dirt road to my house and hit some mud. But I can't blame the tire for that, just about any street tire is going to feel greasy in the mud.
